POLICE are warning the public to be cautious after prescription medication was stolen from a house in Birkenhead.
Officers were called to St Anne’s Place on Wednesday morning following reports of a break-in.
Various items were stolen, including prescription and non-prescription medication.
The prescription medication includes: 400 x 60mmol Sando-K (potassium) tablets 30 x 30mg Tramadol tablets 60 x morphine tablets
The burglary is under investigation.
Police are reminding people that taking any medication which has not been prescribed for them can be dangerous and, in some circumstances, can prove fatal.
Anyone with information on the burglary or who finds any of the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station and call officers on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
