Two teenagers have been arrested in connection with an incident in which a 15-year-old girl was knocked down by a suspected stolen van in Moreton.
A 19-year-old man from Moreton has been held on suspicion of aggravated unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle.
And a 16-year-old boy, also from Moreton, has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a vehicle.
Both have been taken into custody for questioning by detectives.
At around 9.40pm, on Monday, police received a report of a Ford Trans Connect van seen travelling at speed on Manor Road, Upton, heading towards Moreton.
Following a brief pursuit by police the vehicle drove into Lyons Close where it was involved in a collision with a 15-year-old girl, before hitting a brick outbuilding, causing considerable damage.
The girl suffered brusining but did not require hospital treatment.
