THE re-launch of a new Teen Wirral website will be celebrated with a party next week.
Taking place at Wallasey Youth Hub on Wednesday, June 15, from 7pm-9.30pm, the event is open to 13-19 year olds and marks www.teenwirral.com - which went live last week.
Also attending will be youth service staff. Fancy dress is optional.
The new site has been created in conjunction with young people across Wirral, including youth hubs, students of Hilbre High School, and Teenwirral readers.
Cllr Tony Smith, Wirral's cabinet member for children and family services, said: "With a clean look and simplified design, Teenwirral is now responsive on mobiles and tablets.
"It features a brand-new logo chosen by young people, plus advice and support on subjects ranging from pregnancy and gender identity to mental health and stop smoking support.
"Local advice agencies for teenagers are also profiled on the site such as the Response service, which offers counselling, housing information, and more."
