Science fiction fans won’t want to miss a chance to see some of the galaxy’s most terrifying life-forms at a special event later this month.
Wallasey Central Library welcomes life-sized, mobile, replica Daleks to coincide with a screening of a sci-fi movie classic.
The Daleks were created by Wirral model makers Dave Owen and Joe Nagle.
The 1966 movie Daleks - Invasion Earth 2150 AD will be screened in the library after a talk about the history and development of the Daleks since their introduction to Dr Who in 1963.
The event is organised by the Friends of Wallasey Central Library and Wirral Council’s Libraries service and will take place next Saturday, May 21.
The talk will be between at 10am and 12.30pm with the film screening starting at 2.30pm.
The day will also include an exhibition and a showing of Dalekmania, the definitive story of the Daleks.
There will also be a chance to have your photograph taken with a Dalek, a "Draw a Dalek" competition, raffle and refreshments.
