WHAT'S going on with parking in Heswall?
This morning I received a demand, a £100 fine for parking in a parking bay on Telegraph Road.
This was a quiet weekday evening while I ate in a local restaurant.
This new parking restriction was apparently slipped in place a few weeks ago.
As I've been parking in the same spot freely for many years, I was caught unaware.
Not only are we charged to shop locally during working hours, but now in the evening as well.
Could Heswall follow Chester’s lead and give residents special parking allowances?
With the demand for £100 from a private "civil enforcement" agency sitting on my table, I’m left with a nasty taste in my mouth after an enjoyable meal.
