HOW do you fancy being all at sea ...without getting on a ship?
Well, you are invited to a show called " All Aboard " this Saturday.
The Port Sunlight Sea Dogs will be appearing in a landlubbing line-up at the historic St Nick's Church at the Pier Head.
The Seafarers' Church will play host to former singer with The Spinners , Hughie Jones and singer-songwriter Gerry Ffrench (correct).
The five man Port Sunlight Sea Dogs have just enjoyed a series of well-received performances at the Merseyside Maritime Museum last weekend.
They also performed an impromptu session on the France-Hayhurst historic tugboat at the Albert Dock which delighted tourists.
The Sea Dogs are also planning hoping a Christmas special on the tugboat this year singing seasonal songs as well as shanties from their second album Driftwood.
The All Aboard concert also features Hughie Jones, a master songsmith and charismatic performer.
He is best known for his legendary status as one of The Spinners.
Gerry Ffrench , who is famous for her songs from her Liverpool and Irish roots, will perform self- penned sound contemporary folk music and traditional numbers.
A spokesman told the Wirral Globe: "This will be a celebration of songs of the sea at the heart of the city of Liverpool and Merseyside.
"It is taking place in a chapel dedicated to the patron saint of sailors.
"It is a concert full of maritime history with lashings of Mersey humour from both sides of the river.
"Join us for a joyous , musical rant and raucous roar."
The concert takes place on Saturday , October 3.
