WHY is it that in these days of austerity and cuts, apparently with more to come, can anyone explain why it is only the man in the street who is being affected?
I have yet to hear of any MPs or local councillors who have felt the cuts.
Wirral Council alone has 22 wards each with a minimum of three councillors, who by their own admission are delivering a third fewer services than they did before and things are only getting worse.
Why haven’t any MPs or councillors been made redundant or lost their jobs just like everybody else?
With their high salaries and generous expenses, the amount of money that could be saved must be enough to pay for schools, health services and cut the Council Tax.
Surely the people in power who caused these problems should be treated like everybody else?
