THROUGH your paper I would like to say a very big thank-you to North West Ambulance Service paramedics Lyndsey and David who very recently came to my assistance when taken ill.

They were so kind caring and professional, even in the ambulance when they were trying to stabilise my position and unbelievably a neighbour saw fit to demand they move the ambulance because she wanted to get her car out they remained professional and very caring.

On arrival at Arrowe Park Hospital I was admitted without delay to the resuscitation unit under the care of Dr Dexter Byrom and his team.

The treatment I received was first class, everyone was professional caring and so well organised.

Both the NWAS and Arrowe Park Hospital often come in for criticism but I have to highlight my own experience which was a faultless service from Lyndsey and David and Dr Byrom and his team.

Thank you one and all your care was first class and I can only say it made what started as frightening and traumatic experience a good patient experience.
