Police are appealing for anyone who finds powerful prescription drugs stolen from a substance abuse centre in Bidston to hand them in.
The medication, which includes two bottles of heroin substitute methadone and a packet of Diazepam, was taken from the Phoenix Centre on Upton Road in Bidston.
It was reported missing and believed stolen yesterday, however could have been taken anytime in the past month.
The medication can potentially be dangerous if taken by someone it has not been prescribed to or if taken in high doses.
Anyone with any information about the theft is urged to call Crimestoppers in 0800 555 111.
Anyone who finds it should hand it in to their nearest police station, pharmacy or health centre.
