WITH fewer than 200 days to go until the next General Election, it is interesting that lots of MPs from across the country are visiting Wirral and listening to our business people, knocking on our doors or telephoning us for our views.
I was surprised that shadow cabinet office minister Chi Onwurah had come down from Newcastle to campaign in West Kirby, particularly as she is a proponent for Underground Coal Gasification.
Does this signal a policy change from the local Labour Party on UCG?
A Silvester, West Kirby.
