Firefighters removed a bicycle brake handle from a boy's leg in New Ferry.
Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service was called out to Thornburn Road at around 8.20pm on Saturday, June 21.
Crews used a tool kit to remove the brake from the boy's leg, and he was then taken to Arrowe Park Hospital.
Appliances from Bromborough and Birkenhead fire stations attended.
