Police are appealing for the public to be cautious after powerful prescription drugs were lost in Moreton and Birkenhead.
In Moreton, 180 tablets of diazapam/dihydrocodeine inside a black handbag were lost on Sedgefield Road at around 2pm on Monday.
On Tuesday in Birkenhead, 8mg tablets of of subutex and methadone were lost somewhere between Old Chester Road and Rock Lane East.
Officers are reminding members of the public that taking medication which hasn't been prescribed for them can be highly dangerous.
Anyone who finds the medication is asked to hand it to any pharmacy or police station, or contact police on 101.
