ROCK and roll legends Status Quo open their UK tour at the Echo Arena in Liverpool later this year.

Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andy Bown, John ‘Rhino’ Edwards and new boy Leon Cave bring their thunderous live show to the venue on Saturday, December 6.

Packed with hits, both new and old, taken from that unbelievable back catalogue, “Live In Concert” is a series of dates not to be missed. 2014 has been a vintage year for the band in every sense.

The band’s seminal 1972 'Piledriver' album – their first on the legendary Vertigo label - is being issued as a Deluxe Edition with bonus material by Universal.

Supporting them will be Chas & Dave.

Masters of the quick quip but also with an ear for a catchy tune, and a knack for writing hits, this duo have become part of the social fabric of the nation, in much the same way as Quo themselves.

With tracks like Gertcha, Snooker Loopy and Rabbit always raising a smile it’s easy to overlook the fact that they’ve played at Glastonbury, perform this year at Sonisphere and once opened for Zeppelin!

Tickets are now on sale, from www.echoarena.com or the box office on 0844 8000 400.
