WIRRAL teenagers have a chance to develop their basic firefighting skills by signing up for a place on a fire cadets' training course.
Aimed at 14 to 16 year olds it involves both practical fire fighting skills, such as hose techniques and use, using ladders and how to search premises, along with theoretical work involving fire service organisation, community Safety and the effects of anti-social behaviour.
