TRANMERE Rovers will start the new season tomorrow without captain James Wallace, who is missing through injury.

Wallace had an operation on his knee earlier this week that will keep him out of action for around a month.

Otherwise, manager Ronnie Moore has a fully fit squad for tomorrow's opener against Walsall at The Banks' Stadium, which kicks off at 3pm.

He said his hardest decision was which central midfielder, with a choice of Max Power, James Rowe or Chris Atkinson, to leave out of his starting line-up.

Strikers Ryan Lowe, Akpo Sodje, Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro and Cole Stockton are all competing for places up front.

Bromborough-based B&M Waste Services have signed up to sponsor the back of Tranmere Rovers’ home and away shirts this season.

The firm has advertised at Prenton Park for more than a decade and has extended its relationship with the Club this afternoon.

Their logo will be worn on all team home and away kit throughout the season.
