UPDATE: Three charged with firearms offences following dawn raids in Merseyside
POLICE have charged three people with firearms offences following dawn raids across Merseyside on Wednesday.
Paul Gamble, 24 years, of Beetham Towers, Liverpool City Centre, Stephen Price, 20 years of Hylton Road, Garston, and Damien Gordon, 32 years of Stavordale Road, Moreton, have each been charged with conspiracy to supply, transfer and possess firearms.
Stephen Price was also charged with possession with intent to supply Class B drugs (namely cannabis).
They will appear at Liverpool City Magistrates Court today.
They were among 11 people arrested by police who swooped on addresses in Garston, Liverpool city centre, Moreton, Wirral and Childwall.
