THREE people were treated for the effects of smoke inhalation following a kitchen fire in Rock Ferry.
Firefighters were called to an address in Wycliffe Street at 4.38pm on Wednesday.
The fire involved a small amount of food on a grill pan. When firefighters arrived the fire was already out.
Two men and a woman suffered suspected smoke inhalation. The woman was given oxygen at the scene by firefighters.
The three were also given a precautionary check-up at the scene by paramedics.
Two crews from Birkenhead and Bromborough fire stations attended the call out. Firefighters were there for around 40 minutes.
