WALLASEY MP Angela Eagle cut the ribbon to officially opened a refurbished Post Office in her constituency.
Moreton Post Office in Chadwick Street, was modernised earlier this month and reopened on Friday.
Ms Eagle said: "I'm delighted to officially open the new-look Post Office.
"Sub-postmaster Pamela is to be congratulated on her work to develop the branch, which will make a real difference for local residents and small business customers.
"I wish her continued success with the business”
Pamela O'Neil said: "I was delighted to have the opportunity to modernise the Post Office and very pleased to be re-launching it today for the community.
"I know customers will like the improvements and I thank Ms Eagle for coming here today, and our customers for being patient during the changes."
