I WOULD just like to say as a regular tunnel user, how I feel very let down by our four elected councillors who sit on the Merseytravel board as Wirral members, Steve Foulkes, Ron Abbey, John Salter and Les Rowlands.
Whilst all four voted against the increase they obviously never stated Wirral's case strongly enough as they failed to gain one other vote or influence one other member of the board, and I wonder whether their 'NO' vote was a token gesture that still allows them to keep their well expensed (rumoured to be £20,000 plus each for a part time position) seats on the Merseytravel board.
Once again the people of Wirral have been let down by the elected councillors who should be fighting our corner.

Greasby
