A RIBBON-cutting ceremony marked the completion of work on a new housing development in Moreton.
The seven family homes and four bungalows in The Dales were built by Wirral Partnership Homes.
Patrick McCarthy, WPH deputy chief executive, new tenant Pauline Witten and schoolgirl Poppi Rossell, aged 12 cut the ribbon to Pauline’s new home in The Dales.
Poppi came up with the street name, The Dales, and won book tokens and a school stationery pack.
Pauline is thrilled with her home which she shares with daughter Alesha, four.
She said: "This time last year I had split with my partner, had to leave my home and was at a very low point but now I couldn't be happier and want to thank WPH for the help they have given me."
Among those present at the opening were Ward Councillor Anita Leech, representatives from the council, and contractors Wates as well as Allan Foster from the Homes and Communities Agency (HCA).
A number of the residents from the bungalows on the site also attended.
The properties are adapted to allow those with physical or learning difficulties to live independently with support from their carers through Housing Options.
Patrick McCarthy added: "We are now well on the way to providing our 400 new home quota agreed with the HCA and continue to deliver our mission statement of providing homes and building communities."
