VOTERS in Pensby and Thingwall will be heading to the polls next month as another council by-election takes place.
Candidates will standing in the ward after Tory councillor Don McCubbin stepped down from his role due to personal reasons.
The ballot will be held on Thursday, February 28.
Two by-elections held last week following the deaths of sitting councillors Anne McArdle and Peter Johnson were won by Conservatives.
The result left Labour still with a comfortable majority having 36 seats, Conservatives on 22 and Liberal Democrats seven.
