To my shadow

MY unwelcome shadow in the columns of your newspaper, Steve Wheeler, is disseminating yet more falsehoods, “Entrenched Ideas,” Wirral Globe, 17.7.2019.

Take the time

Lazy traps

I WOULD wholeheartedly agree with A Reid of Heswall’s criticism of Cheshire Police in last week’s Globe letters, who have obviously run out of criminals to catch and crimes to solve, as their officers seem to be constantly employed in operating speed traps that usually only catch motorists slightly exceeding the speed limit, rather than the real menace of boy racers tearing about with absolutely no regard for speed limits who almost always get away with it as there are never any police cars

Help us out

The Globe had reported last month that Wirral Council spends a vast amount on consultants including £245,000 for 14 months work by one individual.

We’re so grateful

To the gentleman in the white van who helped our dad John Lander when he fell on Friday, December 14 in Leasowe road we want to thank you as a family.

The Tory Government can count the number of MPs votes for their beleaguered leader, Theresa May, but can’t count the number of homeless.

Time for change

Keep it local

In regards to a recent story in the Globe about the tender for a new Mersey Ferry being launched, I think it is ridiculous that this is not automatically being given to Cammell Laird.
