BROSTER (Steele) David On your 59th birthday, Your kindness a light so bright, That was abused by many, When you were in need they took flight, That isn't our lasting thought or memory. We think of all of our laughs and fun, the years of happiness as bright as the sun. A brother, a friend a family in one man, Your end in life, you did not deserve, But those who loved you, shared your pain, We await the day when we can meet again. There is no pain, you suffer not Your fear is now all gone, Now these things are out of our thoughts In our memory you live on We remember not your fight for breath We remember not your strife, Finally we do not dwell upon your death But celebrate your kind generous life.
