GILROY COXON Joan 6th October 2021 Aged 78 years Joan passed away peacefully on 6th October at Marine View Lodge Nursing Home, New Brighton following a long illness. Beloved wife of Ray. Much loved mother of Philip and Joanne and mother-in-law to Cathy and John. Loving Nan to Josh and Katy, Alice and Sean. Beloved sister of Terry, Hilda, Maureen, Anne and John, sister-in-law to Tom and Aunty to many more. We'll remember your happy laughter, Your warmth, your engaging smile. We'll remember your sense of humour, And those earrings ah, such style ! We'll remember that you helped so many Achieve their particular goals, And the family values you held dear That you taught to all those souls. We'll remember your own special passions So diverse ! Such a lot ! Like Cliff, owls and theatre, And that cuppa (black and hot) (yeah, a regular teatotaller) But we'll remember you as a person Of integrity, compassion and love We're sure that'll go down well When you meet up with Him above ! Requiem Mass at Holy Apostles and Martyrs Church, St Georges Road, Wallasey at 12 noon on Thursday 21st October followed by short service at Landican Crematorium, South Chapel at 1.30pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Alzheimer's Society (collection boxes at Church and Crematorium). Reception afterwards at Belvidere Centre, Belvidere Rd, Wallasey, CH45 4RY which was close to Joan's heart and where she helped so many young people for over thirty years.
