JOAN TAYLOR (SWIFT) After very bravely fighting many years of medical problems, like the born and bred Scotty Road girl that she truly was, on February 1st Mum very sadly lost her battle, as peacefully as could be expected, at The Lighthouse Lodge Residential/Nursing Home on Alexandra Road, New Brighton in her 98th year of an amazing life, with her last 25 years having been spent living at The Cliff, Wellington Road, New Brighton, until very recently. Mum was pre-deceased by her dearly beloved husband of over 56 years Robert Noel (Bob) Taylor, and leaves her 2 sons Jeffrey Taylor (wife Anne) and Steve Taylor, together with her granddaughter Lyndsay Ronan (husband John), grandson Nick Taylor (wife Sarah), together with Mum's 4 much loved great grandsons Humphrey and Ryleigh Taylor in Bermuda, and Jack and Thomas Ronan in Massachusetts, USA, together with MANY other very kind and loving relatives and friends in the UK, Bermuda, the USA, and many other parts of the world. The Funeral Service will be held at 1.30pm on Wednesday March 4th at St. James Church, Albion Street, New Brighton, followed by a Cremation Service at Landican Crematorium at 3pm the same afternoon. In lieu of flowers Mum has requested that donations please be made and forwarded to Claire House Childrens Hospice, Clatterbridge Road, Bebington, Wirral, either directly or through Mum's Funeral Directors, Kenna & Turner, 31 Rowson Street, Wallasey.
