VALERIE IRENE JONES 11.02.1948 to 15.08.2019 It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved Valerie, at home. Adored and loving wife of Ashley. Much loved and devoted mother of Victoria and mother-in-law of Mark. Precious and loving grandmother of Amber and Sienna. Dear sister of Patricia and a loving auntie. Valerie will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends. She will be forever remembered in our hearts as such a special person. Funeral service to be held on Friday 30th August at 1pm at Christ the King RC Church, Bromborough followed by Landican Crematorium, South Chapel at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, for Cancer Research UK c/o Charles Stephens Funeral Directors, 215 Bebington Road, Rock Ferry, CH42 4QA.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I met Val during a stay at hospital. She made my time there pass with ease and kept me smiling daily. She was very proud of her granddaughters, her face would light up just talking about them. Genuinely a great loss to the world. A fantastically lovely woman who in my short time with her has left a very lasting impression. My regards to Ashley and the family. X
