BRIAN MAURICE BARRETT 15.03.1935 - 03.07.2019 Dearly loved son of George and Winifred, brother to Arthur and Angela, beloved husband to the late Shirley. Dear, lovely dad to Lynn, Lisa and David, and father-in-law to the two Geoffs. Brian passed away peacefully at Arrowe Park Hospital after a short illness bravely borne. Formerly of the Merchant Navy, Brian was well known in Wallasey for his delicious confectionery and baked goods, and for his work as Steward at the Wallasey British Legion. His quick and cheeky sense of humour was the delight of the family, especially grandchildren Bev, Mark, Craig, Mari, Antony, Will, Lou and great grandchildren Rebekah, Faye, Fleur and Rosa, as well as family in Canada. Special thanks to the care team at Premier Care and to the staff at APH. Brian's funeral will take place at the Central Chapel, Landican, on Thursday 18th July at 2.00pm. Colourful attire welcomed, especially a red item. Family flowers only please, but donations if wished to the British Heart Foundation or the R.N.L.I.
