LENA McDONNELL 14th March 2019 Aged 95 years It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our lovely Mum, Lena. Devoted Wife of 75 years to Andy (who passed away on the 25th January 2019). Loving mother to John, Pat, Bob, Bridie and Vincie. Dear mother-in-law to Anne, Pauline, Linda, Sheldene, and Padraig. Much loved Nan to her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Mum passed away peacefully with her family around her. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends alike. An Irish Blessing May the roads rise up to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, May the rains fall soft upon fields and until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Mum you will be forever in our thoughts and our hearts. Your loving family. The Rosary will be offered for Lena in the Chapel of Rest at Charles Stephens, Funeral Directors, 146 Allport Road, Bromborough, Wirral, CH62 6BB on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 at 6 pm. Funeral Mass on Monday 8th April 2019 at Christ The King Church, Bromborough, Wirral, CH62 6AT at 11.00 am, followed by a Cremation Service at Landican Crematorium, South Chapel, Arrowe Park Road, Birkenhead, CH49 5LW at 12.30 pm. Refreshments will be held afterwards at Knockaloe Hall, Bridle Road, Bromborough, CH62 6AR to celebrate Lena's wonderful long, healthy, and happy life. Family flowers only please.
