Mount unpleasant

HAVING read your article on refuse bin nonfines, I would like bring to your attention that even after two years of compaints to Street Scene, there are streets in the borough that leave their bins out all year round.

Mount Grove is one such road where bins are left out in front of the houses and never taken in.

To make matters worse there is a primary school in the road so children have to walk past these bins twice a day.

The council needs to see just how awfull it looks and how it sends the wrong message on how residents take pride or not of their area.

A very angry ex-resident of Mount Gove.

It shows how much notice streetscene take of complaints, bins left out, bags of rotting rubbish left by the side of bins ripped open by the local wildlife bins with no lids or wheels old carpets prams etc, and the council are proud to announce that no action will be taken, spineless and useless

Ok so it's annoying when the neighbours don't share your opinions on how tidy the street should be but honestly...what the hell has children got to do with this ?

My children must have nerves of steel since they can easily walk past a wheelie bin without even flinching. How cool is that ?
