Grateful for help of 'anonymous'

I WOULD like to use your letters page to thank the 'anonymous' person who handed in my well-worn purse/wallet complete to the staff at Morrison’s West Kirby on Thursday, June 7.

After "multi-tasking" (a woman thing) all day, it wasn’t until I went to buy petrol, some three or four hours later, that I realized my purse was missing!

After searching and phoning and re-tracing my steps the last place I called was Morrison's.

A charming young lady on the end of the phone checked and informed me that my purse was at the information desk.

When I collected it, nobody knew whether it was a member of staff or public responsible for the honest deed.

So to whoever it was, on your behalf I made a donation to the charity bucket at the information desk and would like to thank you once again for your honesty.

Darlene Kozinuk Meols.
