Globe reader's thanks for help after accident

I FELL and broke both my arms on December 20 while last-minute Christmas shopping in Moreton.

Healing at home now, I would like to thank all the very kind people who stopped and helped me.

A young lady sat with me on the pavement rubbing my back and talked to me, a young man phoned an ambulance, a gentleman put a quilt and scarf on me to keep me warm and a young woman offered to come to the hospital.

I never knew their names but they know who they are and I thank you so much for your kindness.

I would also like also thank the ambulance staff, Accident and Emergency personnel and those at the Trauma Unit.
