There are too many traffic lights in Wirral

I WHOLEHEARTEDLY agree with the letter from Derek Arnold last week about too many traffic lights. Wirral Borough Council seems to be obsessed with traffic lights.

I think that per square mile, Wirral must have more than anywhere else in the country. For example, from Thingwall Corner to the Half Way House in Prenton there are FIFTEEN sets of lights.
