Eric's Club photos brought back many memories

I was fascinated to see the pictures by Franseco Mellina of Liverpool’s Eric’s Club (Globe, June 24)
They brought back quite a few happy memories of the 1980s and all the fashions of the day.
The people might have looked rather odd, but I’d take that any time against the glowering hoodies you see on the streets today.
