Moreton lights need your help

AS chairperson of Moreton Community Lights Association, I fundraise and organise the Christmas Lights for Moreton.

Fundraising is needed - the shops do not automatically give. Some shops do give prizes to raise money via a raffle, which is good - but to raise a substantial amount it needs a community spirit.

My friend and I do car boot sales to raise funds so we ask Moreton to turn out their lofts and children's bedrooms for anything saleable. I can be contacted on 07809 245 561 (email: berylbez@aol.com) - leave a message and I'll get back to you and collect within 48 hours.

May I take this opportunity to thank councillors over the past two years for the money from the Area Forum Funds from Leasowe, Moreton & Saughall. Also Streetscene, who give a lights allowance.
