I WOULD be grateful to hear the views of Wirral West MP Margaret Greenwood on our local grammar schools, and whether she thinks they would be safe under a future Labour government?
I was disappointed to hear that Jeremy Corbyn, at Labour's recent conference, called for Labour activists to have a national day campaigning against grammar schools.
Will she defend our local grammar schools from Jeremy Corbyn?
If I remember correctly, one of Ms Greenwood's leaflets during the general election claimed that West Kirby Grammar school was somehow under threat from closure – which wasn't the case – and she called for it to be saved. Has she now changed her position?
