AFTER reading the various reports in connection with the above issue, I am at a loss to understand the mentality of the council.
At a time when they keep telling the ratepayers how broke they are, they consider spending £270,000 on a paper which, if people wanted to see what the council are doing, could be put on the council website for all interested parties or place updates in the few Libraries that this council have left the Wirral.
Thank goodness for the Globe which keeps us all informed.
If the council get fined for this venture can we be assured that they will pay it from their own pockets and not expect as usual the public to pay for there incompetence.
Their attitude seems to be dictatorial.
