I WRITE to you about the 38 bus service in Port Sunlight.

My message to bus company Stagecoach is this: "Get these invaders out now, before they create even more havoc."

The first I knew of their presence was when I heard the roaring sound and the house windows started shaking as one came down the road.

Five minutes later, one came up the road with the same result.

This is now happening every half-an-hour for 10 hours a day and I'm absolutely fed up with it.

Stagecoach has a lot to answer for by not consulting the 2,000 residents of Port Sunlight Village before introducing the 38 service.

Some residents have spoken to the council and others to their local MP about ending this service now.

As we know, Port Sunlight is a unique area, with a war memorial, art gallery, lovely gardens and a quiet, serene atmosphere.

But within days of the bus service starting, that's all changed.

The air is absolutely polluted, the narrow roads are getting grid-locked and parking space has been reduced.

Take these invaders - that's what they are - out of the village now before they ruin it completely.
