ON Tuesday, July 5, my sister's car was parked outside Christchurch in Port Sunlight.

Whoever the person was who bashed into the car and caused extensive damage, just drove off without stopping, leaving someone else to pay for their carelessness.

The traffic and parking has become a real problem in the village with many motorists parking where they think fit.

Greendale Road has more than a hundred cars parked there daily and Bolton Road can be very dangerous for pedestrians.

When will the powers that be take stock of the parking and speed limits which some motorists ignore?

Port Sunlight is an area of conservation but the moron who damaged my sister's car got away with it.

That person knows who they are and should be ashamed of themselves.

Please can we have some action soon.

Carole Jones, Port Sunlight.
