REGARDING the recent letter headlined Houses too big for some.
As a tennant of Riverside my home is overcrowded forcing me to have to share a bedroom with my ten-year-old daughter.
With this comes a lot of issues, one being a lack of privacy for us both, while my neighbour – a single, non-working person – lives in a three-bed family house.
How is this system right?
It's clearly not working.
And even after numerous visits to my MP and lots of phone calls, letters and emails sent to property pool plus and Riverside my situation is still ongoing.
Someone needs to be made accountable for this poor housing system, while single people get to live comfortably in a family home while my three-bed house consisting of four adults – three of whom work, and my daughter have had to suffer ten years of this so-called "system".
