I HAVE now been living in Wirral for five years and have always made a point of reading the Globe's letters page.
There's hardly a week goes by without something about "the council."
I've never heard of any council lending money to other councils – especially at a reduced interest rate – and then they have the nerve to say they haven't any money.
And yet they close special schools and care homes and now are removing 'lollipop' men and women.
So who is to blame? And why were they voted in to continue as council members?
Those who did need to ask themselves why and stop beefing – they have only themselves to blame, haven't they?
