AFTER trying four so-called dance groups and being left to stagger round best I could, or trying to cope with an "hour" tuition being crammed into five minutes or listening to the most boring music, I decided to give up.
Then I just happened to be reading the Globe noticeboard and saw Learn to sequence, St Barnabas Church Hall, Bromborough every Monday, £2 all welcome. "£2" must be a mistake.
I phoned up and was greeted by a jolly lady who insisted the price was NOT a mistake and to come on down.
I did just that and I was greeted like an old friend and introduced to everyone, then I was walked through a nice easy dance and if I made a mistake I had to stop and do it again.
I had an afternoon's entertainment with a crowd of jolly friendly people, bright, lively music and tea included.
Thank you Globe and thank you Bromborough Dance Club.
Robert Dale, Heswall.
