THE Globe is spearheading a campaign to return to the dark ages. Recycling has to happen and all over the country there are fortnightly collections.
I live in Ellesmere Port and we have had alternating fortnightly collections for three years. No-one complains - they just recycle - unlike Wirral, where people moan and complain about it.
We have a pink sack for plastic bottles and tins, two container boxes (one for newspapers, junk mail etc, and the other compartmentalised for glass and cardboard), as well as a green bin (for household rubbish) and a brown bin (for garden waste).
Come on, Wirral, wake up!
