Fine all litterers – it’s only fair
LAST week one of your readers by e-mail made comment about we smokers being “feral,” saying the list of litter is endless.
Everybody knows the list of litter is endless, but there are bins for litter, cigarette butts, cans and bottles – but split cans, broken glass and bottles are dangerous.
So why fine a smoker who has stamped out the cigarette butt and not those who leave dangerous litter lying around?
