EVERY resident in the borough pays their council tax in one form or another, yet this council can't provide the very basic of services.

In my 64 years in Wallasey I have never seen its streets so disgusting.

They have the nerve to fine people for not keeping the borough tidy.

In truth, the people who should be fined are Wirral Council for failing to provide a good example.

For I have never seen Wallasey and Wallasey Village in particular so overgrown with weeds.

This is because the so-called road sweepers simply don’t know how to use a brush, shovel or scraper.

It's about time someone came in who can budget and get rid of the waste in the council’s office staff.

First to go should be people on £100,000 per annum and above.Wirral does not need high-waged people sitting in glass houses.

It needs people on the streets doing what we pay our council tax for.
