I RECENTLY spoke to a member of the local NHS Trust team to voice my concern about the production costs of their glossy magazine which is posted out to me on a regular basis and is of no interest whatsoever.
I suggested they should save the money they spend on this and channel it instead towards direct care for those needing medical attention.
I noted in your article about the increase in hospital car parking charges that a spokesman was quoted as saying: "We have had to review all our finances."
I can only hope that these money-wasting publications have also been reviewed - and scrapped.
Probably not.
So more parking charge hikes to come. Shameful.
