Time to fine illegal anglers in Wirral
I HOPE the council will send their new anti-littering team to Gilroy Nature Reserve in West Kirby and fine all the illegal anglers who leave their litter, fishing wire and hooks behind.
A once beautiful place is now a rubbish dump most mornings.
But maybe, as they evidently cannot read the No Fishing signs, then presumably they can’t read the litter bin signs either.
The council environment team doesn’t seem to mind the litter or the fact the reserve is being used as toilet.
