TO the lady who assaulted and verbally abused me while she was using an ASDA scooter at their Liscard store, I would like to say that over the last 20 years I have suffered different degrees of disability myself, which included being wheelchair-bound during a large percentage of that time.

During all of my pain and suffering, I never once found it necessary to assault or abuse anyone for parking a supermarket trolley in my way for a few moments.

As it was, I did not know you were going to arrive while I took my young granddaughter to use the toilet.

I am writing this letter to let you and the poor lady who was with you know that I hold no grudge for this attack and that I can only assume that your disgusting behaviour was due to you having some life-changing news or illness that would make you react i n such a way to a complete stranger.

My young granddaughter was very disturbed by your attack and this is why I have chosen to point out to you that you are not the only person who has pain in your life, and you really should not judge people that you do not know.

To the lady with you would like to say, do not worry about it and keep your chin up.
