WE renewed our garden bin collection fee on June 1 and as a result found our overflowing garden bin was not collected on 4th.
I telephoned Streetscene to complain only to be told that it takes 15 days for payments to be processed.
When I pointed out that this meant I had been struck-off the list before payment was due and that I was a regular on the round I was astounded to hear that it was down to “the driver’s discretion.”
Well thanks chaps - no Christmas tips in future.
