I WOULD just like to extend my grateful thanks via the Wirral Globe to the two gentleman who came to my aid when my car ground to a standstill on the approach road to Arrowe Park by Prenton Asda early this morning on my way to work.
It was peak time and I was in the middle lane.
The first gentleman moved it to the side of the road and the second jump-started it for long enough to drive it onto the kerbside so not to cause an obstruction.
Full marks to them both for their kindness and of course huge thanks to my hero Neil from Westbourne Motors West Kirby and his trusty tow-truck!
It was a terrifying experience for a solo female. Thumbs-down to all drivers who continued to drive past me at speed without a second glance.
Brenda Hudson, Birkenhead.
