I FEEL really strongly that the government is not doing enough to close down the "Mayfair loophole" for big companies who consistently avoid paying taxes on profits they make.

This loophole costs the government and tax payers up to £700m a year.

I work for a big multi-national company and have had to endure a painful period of strike action, reduction of income, funding our own pay rise, and changes in conditions whereby we no longer get paid for overtime.

All so they can make a massive profit and the chief executive gets paid more than £6m?

I have written to my MP with no response from her – and she is a Labour member.

If she isn’t prepared to do anything, even our future politicians don’t seem to to be willing to take this on.
